First and foremost, I would like to sincerely apologize on missing my blogpost last week. One word: midterms. Excuses, excuses… I know. I really am sorry and I will be better about posting every, single week.
Moving on, this past weekend was Halloween! Obviously a holiday celebrated by many ages, but it seems that the celebrations get a little crazier during the college years. Trying not to be too basic, I decided to be Catwoman, so I of course needed to make a mask. I found a template online at http://www.beautybitten.com/2012/10/halloween-diy-selina-kylecatwoman.html#.VFb5z1ZN1uY and traced the mask!
I then cut out black felt and taped my stencil to it. The rest is pretty self explanatory! Being the resourceful college student I am, I had to be creative in finding felt. I did not have access to any craft stores, and I was not able to find felt anywhere! I finally found this “felt house” at Target and decided it would be perfect to cut my mask out of.
After adding ribbon and finding cat ears, I had my Catwoman costume!

Most of my Saturday was spent at a very cold football game, but none-the-less part of my wonderful weekend!
Even with the unusually cold temperatures, this weekend was certainly a blast. I hope you all had a great time as well!
