I ended my summer with a long overdue trip to Atlanta, GA. One of my childhood best friends moved to ATL last fall, and I finally had the chance to visit her in August. We were definitely limited on time, so we had to make the most of each day. Today, I’m going to show you the highlights of my trip and some places you should check out if you ever venture to Atlanta!
We explored the shops of downtown Decatur, GA and stopped at The Yogurt Tap for some fro-yo.
We journeyed downtown and spent some time admiring the Atlanta skyline.
While downtown, we walked through Centennial Park and stopped at Twin Smokers BBQ for lunch.
We ate dinner at the widely known bar & grill, The Vortex.
One of my favorite parts of the trip was spending time at Stone Mountain. Climbing up to the top was definitely a hike, but the views were worth it.
We ended the trip with a visit to Ponce City Market & walked on The Beltline.
Overall, I had a great time in Atlanta – thank you to Libby for hosting me. I cannot wait to return in November to celebrate her birthday!
