Being a blogger means that I am constantly taking DIY pictures for projects I may or may not post about, and also hoarding product packaging in case I decide to write about a product. Can anyone relate? This post is no exception, I have saved these empty products for some time in hopes that I would one day sit down and review them for you all. Well, that day has finally arrived and today I am sharing with you products I have finished (relatively) recently and my opinions on them!
- Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: no
I know a lot of people like this product, but unfortunately it broke me out. I was able to use it as an under eye concealer, but no where else on my face.
- NYX Concealer in a Jar: yes
This has been my go-to concealer for years now. It does the job and is under $5!
- Revlon ColorStay: no
This was my favorite foundation for some time, but Revlon recently changed the formula. I find that it no longer has long-lasting coverage and is not worth $10.
- Revlon Nearly Naked: no
This is another foundation I used to enjoy, but the sunscreen in it started to irritate my sensitive skin. If you’re looking for light coverage and something with spf, and you don’t have sensitive skin, this may be the foundation!
- Wet n Wild MegaLiner: yes
This is another product Wet n Wild recently changed the formula of, but I don’t mind. If you’re looking for an inexpensive liquid eyeliner, I would give this one a try!
- NYC High Definition Liquid Eyeliner: maybe
This liner gets the job done, but it is not highly pigmented.
- NYC Big Bold & Precise: no
I bought this one because I was a fan of the HD one, but it is a major no for me. The tip is bulky and hard to use, and I always end up with eyeliner all over my face.
- Covergirl Plumpify blastPRO: yes
I find that this mascara is pretty similar to the Lash Blast Volume, but the wand is slightly larger. I like the mascara and formula, but the brush can be tricky to use, especially on lower lashes.
- Essence Lash Princess: no
I did not hate this mascara by any means, but it just wasn’t for me. The initial application was okay, but once I tried to layer the mascara it became a clumpy mess.
- MUFE Smoky Extravagant Mascara: no
I received this sample size in some Sephora kit awhile ago. While I did enjoy it, I would personally not pay $24 for the full size.
- Covergirl LashBlast Volume: yes
LashBlast is just one of those timeless mascaras that I always end up going back to.
- Covergirl Flamed Out: yes
This has been compared to Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced, as a cheaper alternative.
